1st Place Design began operation in August 2000 as a web design service. A frustration with existing SEO solutions led to the development of a new system. After the success of the initial projects, 1st Place Design focused all efforts on expanding the SEO client base.

During 2002, 1st Place Design began dominating the world market, achieving #1 position on Google and other major search engines for 'search engine optimisation'. 1st Place Design then forged relationships with several prominent Australian web hosting and design companies who on-sold our SEO services. By the end of 2004, 1st Place Design was optimising more web sites than any other SEO service in Australia.

Through 2005 to 2006, 1st Place Design took an enormous leap in establishing a complete white label solution for SEO. Infrastructure was further strengthened by the development a dedicated SEO Management system to meet the demands of rapid expansion, and the provision of quality SEO services for resellers at the lowest price possible.

With new innovative upgrades and products streaming out every month, 1st Place Design's resellers are finding it incredibly easy to sell our services. As the strong demand for affordable search marketing services continues, 1st Place Design plans to establish an offshore office by late next year to provide local support to our US and UK resellers.

Paul plays a key role in developing client and partner relationships as well as the management and strategic direction of the company.		Jonathan joined 1st Place Design in 2005. Since then he has directed the company along the most efficient technology driven path. He is responsible for the development of innovative new products and services, as well as the strategic marketing of our product range and company image.
